I have recently done two movies. The first one was in downtown L.A. and was a night shoot. Started at 6 in the evening and ran until 6 in the morning. Here's what I can tell you about it.

Nothing.

I would love to tell you about it, but I signed a non-discloser form, and if I told you anything, they would come and take me away. Or something.

Really, there is little I could tell you anyway. I didn't see the actors because I was busy running down the street. Why? Not sure. Besides, I don't fancy broken knee caps. I have read in the Sci-fi news that, “Ain't It Cool News reported a rumor that writer Matt Reeves (Under Siege 2) will helm the upcoming J.J. Abrams-produced monster movie code-named Cloverfield.” And that the trailer for the movie aired in theaters with Paramount's Transformers this week.

This last week, I also worked on the movie “The Perfect Game” as a photo double. I wasn't hired as a photo double. I was hired as a “fan”. I got there about an hour early and as I walked up to get some food, an AD asked me if I was “Michael”. I said no, but that if Michael made more than I did, I'd be happy to be Michael. We laughed and I got some food, then went over to holding.

As I entered holding, Anna, the 2nd 2nd, asked me if I was Michael. Then Carol, the background casting agent asked me if I was about 5' 10'', and I didn't want to disappoint her, so in the tradition of “Yes, I can rider a horse” (as said by a city boy who couldn't identify a horse without a picture), I said sure. And Anna said, “He looks more like the actor than Michael”, and Carol said, “He could work.”, and Anna said, “Yeah, he could work.”, and I said, “I could work!”, and Anna said, “Good, come with me.”, and all of a sudden, I had my own trailer and three more days work on a SAG voucher. You gotta love this town.

The Perfect Game is about the 1957 World Series of Little League, and the little team from Mexico who came in and played the perfect game. Think family movie. The star of the movie is Angel, who pitches the game, and during one of the breaks between takes, the real Angel of 1957 was there to wave to the crowd of background along with one of his team mates and two members of opposing teams. Did I mention that I had a trailer...with air conditioning? Cool.
